Ancient Wisdom
This image was shot in the same place of "The Vigilant" photo - [link] - in the magical Lindoso village, in Serra do Gerês. Here you can see what we call "espigueiros", a structure built to protect the harvests from rodents, and to allow them to dry faster. These structures are scattered over the North of Portugal and Galicia in Spain, and they have such a unique look, that I had to capture some shots including them. I used my ultra-wide angle lens from a low point of view, to emphasize scale, and used a 3 stop ND Grad for the sky. I miss this place so much, it had such a magical and serene atmosphere, not making me want to leave... We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
