Quite a tricky photo. The boat was slowly moving, so I couldn´t use too long exposures. The problem was that there was not much ambient light, so I had to use exposures >10seconds to properly expose the image. As this was not an option (as the boat would be totally blurry), I had to increase the ISO to 400. With my pentax K10d this would be a total no-no, due to extreme noise, but it worked very nicely with the Sony a55 and the Adobe Camera RAW 6.3 amazing noise reduction algorithm.
Besides that, and since it was already night, I had a yellow light coming from behind, which got caught in the long exposure, as you can see in the back of the boat and the bottom part of the photo. Still, I think it adds something different to the image.
