Incandescence

When sparks start pouring from the sun, the quiet world I live in ignites and becomes alive...

Shot on the wonderful Vila Nova de Milfontes some months ago. It was the first time I went to this place, and I decided to stay in this spot, waiting for the sun to come down. The waves were quite strong, the air was filled with salt and moisture, and filters had to be cleaned almost every minute. There was such an amazing light that afternoon, and I'll be looking forward to submit more shots from that session.

Finally, I've been waiting for some new seacoast deviations from you. And this is again amazing. :)

May I ask how you ended up with a 6 second exposure with f/8 only using a 4stop ND and the 3stop GND? I happen to get way shorter exposures and aperture values using similar equipment.

Hi there. Thanks for your comment!

You just made me wonder... and I'm feeling a bit stupid right now, because I could swear I already had my new 4 stop and 9 stop ND filters from hitech, but NO, I was still using the Hoya ND400. Thanks for pointing it out, and I'll correct the photo info right now... It's a shame that the exif doesn't show the filters used! :D
