Photo taken at Serra de Monchique - Algarve - Portugal
Note: I've always loved this mountain, because of the human path "written" on it. I already went to this location about 10 times, always looking for the best lighting. In this 10 times I've taken lots of photographs, but was never happy with the result. That was until the last photo session, where an extremely cloudy and menacing sky, was joined by a strong sun from the right (which can't be seen in the photo). The light was filtered by the clouds and shadows were also created by the numerous natural elevations in the area, leading to this interesting end result.

great shot, love the winding path up the hill side. the bluring of the closest clouds helps draw u into the image too
