A close perspective on one of the sides of the fascinating symbiotic relationship... Nature has an infinite number of mutual relationships which are most of the times invisible to our human eye...
Altough not all relationships are mutual, some elements still manage to survive alongside different species, knowing that they wont survive without the other. We could call it a signal of extreme dependence, but dependence is nothing but a human concept, which is employed in the too much common relationships of subjugation and lack of character, which plague this planet. Nature doesn't use the word "dependence", it uses the word "harmony" bonded with "coexistence"...
Perhaps we should start learning nature's vocabulary...

This is an gorgeous shot and yes, indeed, we all need to work together to make this planet work and ensure the survival and peaceful co-existence of all species. Somehow it's not quite working though . . . but this is an excellent reminder that we need to strive harder and look more closely for the beauty in all things.
