The Last Refuge


Waves were so menacing that day
and the wind seemed to cry in anger
something definitely attractive to me
and yet the only thing I could think about
was to run and find shelter
The only thing I could think about
was to get away from the pressure
and escape from the chains that hold tight

Run while you can, and be free.

Shot right after sunset. An extremely windy day, big waves crashing furiously in the coastline. Those white "thingies" you see scattered through the photo are bits of wave foam carried by the wind.

Used a 3 stop soft ND Grad + 4stop full grad, combined with long exposure.
